Awards2

Top Drawer showcases the newest product launches, cutting edge designs and must-have products for 2013. We are delighted to be the official blog partner for the show which is currently running at Earls Court.

With over 800 carefully selected British and international suppliers to browse, we made it our mission to hunt down our top picks. We handed out 7 of our very special laser cut “You Are Awesome” awards to the sellers that really caught our eye at this January’s show!

Here we go…

Wonderful bespoke wooden laser cut pop out cards from Jonathan Aspinall. Relatively new to selling, this professional outfit blew us away with the make quality of each card. Jonathan is re-incarnating the traditional greeting card.

Definatly one to watch for the future.

2 – Don’t Cry For Me Brings Us – Etelvina a Chicken to store your plastic bags in

Chick1

Already a massive hit in Argentina, these humorous chickens are sweeping across Europe. Our prediction is these products will be the next big thing in Great Britain and we at BlogAndBuySale are going to do everything we can to kick start this!

This product is a practical accessory to keep and dispense plastic bags as well as being a colourful addition to the home.

3 – The Joy Of Ex Foundation

Witty, humorous prints, mugs, t-shirts, bags and greeting cards, this warm Ozzy lovely lady bowled us over with her range of fun products. Sally Beerworth the founder of The Joy Of Ex Foundation has  an inspiring story. She started writing a funny novel to make herself smile whilst going through a hard divorce, but her novel was so popular she was encouraged to turn words from her novel into printed products. What a great idea this was! The Joy Of Ex Foundation is doing amazingly well now and Sally supports others going through similar difficult times with the proceeds of her products. Sally, you’re awesome!

4 – Imogen Owen

We were captivated my Imogen Owen’s range of greeting cards at Top Drawer this weekend. Each letterpress card has been beautifully created with a real life 1940s Autovic letter press and a lot of love and care. The range on show is jam packed with cute little illustrative individuals, imaginative messaging and wrapped up in some quality packaging. This talented lady told us all about how she was living the dream of doodling by day and letter pressing by night all under the watchful eye of her dog Pippin.

5 – Kutuu

Kutuu is run by a lovely lady called Hannah Salomon who loves to create jewellery and gift products to treasure. Many of her products feature beautiful messages and phrases and all are made and assembled in the UK. The product that caught our eye were the charms. Either choose to add them to a bracelet or chain and create your own bespoke story by collecting the many charms over the years to come.

6 – Ruth Jackson

The original and unique handmade range of pencil shaving cards were initially what caught our eye on Ruth Jackson’s stand today but it was the bright and breezy seaside inspired Prints and Greeting cards that we fell in love with. Ruth manages to encase the deliciousness of the traditional british seaside holiday in her range. Her stand was a delight to explore. Truly awesome.

Nancy & Betty Studio is an independent stationery design brand, created by Hannah Bidmead. After studying Fine Art (BA) HonsNancy & Betty Studio was created and is now based in her studio in Canterbury, England. We absolutely love Hannah’s products and her stand was so brilliantly set out. Her attention to detail in the way she exhibits her products is also represented in the design and make quality. She should be very proud of the brand she is building!
