Visit to … Drink Shop & Do

Today we took a little a little trip across London to check out ‘Drink Shop & Do’ which is just a stones throw from Kings Cross Station. Having heard a lot of good things about this design shop / cafe bar we were expecting great things. Very happy to say it met all our expectations and more!

The shop front is very greeting and it also includes a very comfy looking deck chair. It is situated right next door to a Sex shop but don’t let that put you off…..mind you that might encourage some people!! Anyway the thing we really love about ‘Drink Shop & Do‘ is that everything in the building is for sale: from designer crafts, vintage tea sets, 1950’s dressers and unusual tables and chairs, to hand-made cakes, ice creams, specialty teas, kitsch finger sandwiches, bottled beers and cocktails.

We got a charming little table two which was tucked away in the corner. The staff were very friendly and greet you with a big smile. Flicking through the menu we started to see where the fun really begins. As well as a great array of food and drinks, it also includes a menu of things to “Do”. These include things such as Note book binding, Cupcake Decorating and even Garter making!

Jo has decided “This is my new favorite place in London!” so looks like we will deffiantly be returning to ‘Drink Shp & Do‘. The place was packed out and we are not surprised why! They have many events running through out the week so be sure to check out their website for more details.
