10 Must visit creative shops in London

1 – Lazy Oaf  | Website

Just off Carnaby street, Lazy Oaf is such a fun shop to pop into whenever you are Central. My favourite place to go to even when you only have a few quid in your pocket! Pick up a fun, well illustrated card or a cool new outfit.


2 – East London Design Store | Website

A great place to browse inspirational prints, jewellery, and lifestyle  products. All items are beautifully laid out and the walls are doned with new found illustrations.

3 – Lomography | Website

Are you a bit of camera geek? ‘YES!’ Then get yourself down to Lomography, packed full of cameras, film, flashes and camera accessories. And there is more, its a brilliant place to pick up hints and tips on how to take really different shots and the staff are so friendly and have so much creative energy, its more of a community than just a shop.


4 – Magma | Website

The established design bookshop,based at Covent Garden is a great place to go for inspiration. James and I were often found here during our student years, the staff there are great and you can spend hours flicking through all the books, magazines and publications.


5 – Tatty Devine | Website 

Tatty Devine have two London boutiques: one on Brick Lane and one in Covent Garden. Famous for selling perspex jewellery handmade in London. Tatty Devine loves to collaborate with other creative people, whether they work in art, music or fashion.Tatty also stock independant sellers and always have an interesting window display to gaze at. Tatty devine is one cool brand.




6 – Smug | Website

Smug is the fab lifestyle shop run by Islington local Lizzie Evans and found nestled within the Camden Passage. This well designed store is full to the brim with beautifully laid out wrapping, cards, prints, books, magazines and homeware. It’s a treat to visit.



7 – Design Museum Shop | Website

The Design Museum’s shop really has it’s finger on the button. They are great at going out there and finding new creative products to feature in their shop.


8 – The Store | Website

Located near Hoxton station in East London.  The Store  is a trendy place to pop into, with a diverse selection of prints, magazines and home-wear. A lot of care has obviously been taken into the presentation of the products in store



9 – Elphicks | Website

Another popular choice East London way, this Columia Road Shop is Elphicks, which sells very cool prints, cards and books. James loves the shop front too!


10 – Drink, Shop & Do | Website

A new discover for BlogAndBuySale, we really love this cafe & shop. Drink Shop & Do has everything in the building for sale: from designer crafts, vintage tea sets, 1950′s dressers and unusual tables and chairs, hand-made cakes, ice creams, specialty teas, kitsch finger sandwiches, bottled beers and cocktails. A lovely place to go and explore while you are at Kings Cross.
